GIVE 5 Retiree Civic Matchmaking Program

5 DAYS, 5 WEEKS, 5 HOURS

GIVE 5 is an innovative “civic matchmaking” program, brought to Jefferson City in partnership with Aging Best, that connects central Missouri retirees and soon-to-be retirees aged 60 or better with meaningful volunteer opportunities. Together, we aim to empower individuals to use their skills, passions, and life experiences to address critical social and systemic issues in our community. Through this collaboration with Aging Best, participants have the chance to engage with a variety of nonprofits and help make a lasting impact in areas like education, child care, housing, and more.

During sessions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of central Missouri’s challenges and the services available through behind-the-scenes tours of nonprofit organizations. On Graduation Day, participants select one or more nonprofits to commit 5 hours a month of volunteer service to.

Expect to have fun, make new friends, and discover volunteer opportunities that match your unique talents, passions, and personality!
